NOBODY'S CHILDREN

DECEMBER 2022

In the winter of 2022, Avery performed in Yellow Door Theatre Project's performance of Nobody's Children, an original Canadian Christmas musical at the First Ontario Performing Arts Centre! This story was inspired by The Pied Piper and the emigration of homeless children in London in the late 1800's.

CMTP JR.: SEUSSICAL

MAY 2022

In 2022, Avery had the privilege of being a part of Ontario's Confidential Musical Theatre Project (CMTP) Jr.'s production of Seussical the Musical as the Mayor. In CMTP, none of the actors in the show know who else is in their cast until they show up an hour before the show begins. This means that no prior rehearsals are provided and all the blocking is improvised on stage. The show itself is also kept as a surprise and the audience doesn't get to know what show they're watching until it begins! This was such a fun experience and expanded Avery's confidence in improv.
